Brauer College is a community that fosters active citizenship and an appreciation of scholastic and co-curricular achievement. In the coming year, Brauer College will offer a number of scholarships to support the development of students who have demonstrated outstanding commitment and achievement.

Academic Scholarships are awarded on achievement in the ACER External Examination, for SEALP applicants, and teacher recommendations.
Leadership Scholarships are available for students eligible for entry into Year 7. Students who are encouraged to apply are:
Leadership Scholarship candidates are required to complete the scholarship application form and provide relevant references from primary school principals, community leaders, service organisations or sports’ clubs to attest to their character and worthiness for consideration.
The selection process for this scholarship will be based on the student’s application and contact with nominated referees.


Brauer College takes great pride in its Music program and the state-wide accolades that individual students have received for the quality of their musical and theatrical performances.
Music scholarships are available for students who intended to pursue their interest in music throughout secondary school. Students who have demonstrated ability or experience in singing, playing a musical instrument or musical productions are encouraged to apply. Free voice or instrumental tuition will be provided to the successful applicants.
The selection process for this scholarship will be based on the student’s application and contact with nominated referees.
Brauer College offers an exciting program in the Creative Arts, providing opportunities in Music and the Visual Arts, as well as an innovative programme in Theatre Studies and Performance.
Brauer College is pleased to make available Performing Arts Scholarships for students who are able to demonstrate involvement in Performance or Stagecraft. Initial application for a Performing Arts Scholarship should include evidence of academic progress as well as testimonials related to experience in Performing Arts related activities.
The selection process for this scholarship will be based on the student’s application and contact with nominated referees.


Brauer College offers a Public Speaking Scholarship to enrolling in Year 7, tenable for the period of enrolment at the college.
The selection process for this Scholarship will be based on the student’s application and interview with the Assistant School Principal.
The scholarship is offered to students who have demonstrated ability and interest in Public Speaking and who possess a keen interest in developing these skills further.
Students will have the opportunity to speak at Brauer College Assemblies and participate in external public speaking opportunities, such as the Lions Youth of the Year and The Legacy Public Speaking competition.
Brauer College has a proud history of producing elite sportsmen and sportswomen. Olympic, Commonwealth and national champions have been graduates of our sports programs and coaching academies..
Applicants need to have a keen passion for and history in, sports participation. They should be able to demonstrate a high level of skill acquisition in their chosen sport and be prepared to participate in regional, state and national sporting events as a representative of Brauer College.
