Outdoor Education Centre at Dunkeld

Brauer operates an extensive camping program at its own well-equipped campsite at Dunkeld in the Grampians. It has been firmly entrenched within the school’s culture and curriculum for over 30 years and remains a popular and proud facet of College life.

Framed by surrounding National Park, the 40 acre site is nestled between the picturesque Grampians and the Wannon River. The camp consists of a large bluestone communal building comprising of kitchen, bedrooms and dining area.

Recreationally the camp boasts an array of adventure-based activities. The majority of the site was constructed by and maintained by staff, parents and students of the College.

A unique feature of the property is the wildlife: kangaroos; emus; wallabies; and other fauna which can be seen frequently throughout the year.
