What is SEALP?

SEALP is a fully integrated and comprehensive high achievement program.  The program aims to develop the whole student as well as ensuring that students maximise their academic success.  Student will be extended in their core subjects from Year 7 and undertake more challenging tasks that will be completed at a higher level within the standard curriculum.

The focus of the program is to provide opportunities for extension and enrichment.  For example, SEALP students will have the opportunity to participate in programs such as the Victorian High Abilities Program (VHAP); study opportunities provided by the Centre for Higher Education Studies (CHES); public speaking events and guest speakers; and work with local providers such as Deakin University and the Warrnambool Technical School.

Academic Mentoring and Data Tracking

One of the highlights of the Brauer College SEALP program will be the academic mentoring provided to these students.  Teaching staff will help students with goal setting based on their individual student data; create learner profiles and encourage students to challenge themselves in their learning.
